1. Downloading Your Products
How do I download my purchased products?
Click on the “My Account” icon (the person-shaped icon in the top right corner of our website). Enter the email address you used during checkout, and you’ll receive a one-time login code via email. Once logged in, click on “Download Center” at the top of the page to access all your products.
Can I download my entire order at once?
Yes, you can. Just select the products you'd like to download by clicking the checkbox in the top-right corner of each item, then hit the “Download All (...)” button at the top of the page.
Can I still download individual libraries separately if I prefer?
Absolutely. You’re free to download only what you need, when you need it. All your products remain accessible in the Download Center, so there's no pressure to download everything at once.
How long will my downloads remain available?
Your downloads will remain available indefinitely. If we ever need to archive or remove a library from our system, we’ll notify all customers well in advance so you can download and store your files.
Can I access my downloads from multiple devices?
Yes, definitely. The Download Center is accessible from any device through our website, so you can log in and download your files wherever you are. Just keep in mind that only you are licensed to use the assets and sharing access with others is not permitted. For more details, see our licensing section.
Are there any download limits or restrictions I should know about?
There are no hard limits on downloads. As long as activity appears to be normal use, you're free to download your files as many times as needed. If our system flags excessive or automated behavior, we may reach out just to ensure everything’s okay.
How can I download the files from a purchase I made before May 1st
These libraries will no longer be available on the website after May 1st. However, you can still access your files through the original download email you received after placing your order. If you can’t locate that email, just reach out to us at support@ocularsounds.com — we’ll make sure you get everything you need.
2. Payments, Billing, and Refunds
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Maestro, Bancontact, iDEAL, UnionPay, and Klarna.
Can I receive an invoice with my company details and VAT ID?
Yes. Just reach out to our support team after your purchase and we’ll manually add your company details and VAT ID to your invoice.
How do I download my invoice after purchase?
You’ll find a download link for your invoice in the order confirmation email you receive after checkout.
Are there any subscription fees or hidden costs?
No. We don’t offer any subscription plans, and there are no hidden fees or royalties — you only pay once per product.
My payment failed. What should I do?
While rare, payment failures can happen. Try again in about 30 minutes, use a different payment method if possible, or try switching browsers — that often helps. If the issue continues, feel free to contact our support team and we’ll help resolve it quickly.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. While most digital stores don’t offer refunds, we stand by our products and want you to feel confident in your purchase. That’s why we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all orders.
How does the 14-day money-back guarantee work?
To request a refund, simply fill out our contact form. A team member will follow up with a short refund questionnaire. Once submitted, your refund will be processed within 5 business days.
Please note: once a refund is issued, your license is revoked and all use of the assets must stop immediately. We actively monitor for unauthorized usage through detection tools.

What kind of license comes with my purchase?

Are the assets royalty-free?
Yes. All assets are 100% royalty-free, fully original, and cleared for use without any copyright issues.
Can I use the assets in commercial projects like ads, films, or games?
Absolutely. Our assets are designed to be used in any kind of commercial production: from ads and films to games and beyond.
Can I use the assets in content I upload to YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok?
Yes. You’re free to use our assets in social media content. We own all rights to our material, so you won’t have to worry about copyright claims.
Can I use the assets in client work?
Yes, absolutely. We encourage it. We’re proud to be part of your creative process, and we’re sure your clients will love the results.
Do I need to credit Ocular Sounds when I use the assets?
No credit is required at all. You're more than welcome to tag or mention us if you feel like it, but there's never any obligation.
Can I share the assets with my team or collaborators?
Every individual who uses our assets in post-production must have their own license. Sharing is not allowed unless your team owns a valid team license.
Do you offer team or multi-user licenses?
Yes. We offer flexible licensing for teams of any size. Each user needs their own license, but we provide discounted pricing for larger teams. Just reach out to us for a custom quote here.

4. Technical Details
What file format are the assets delivered in?
All sound effects and soundtracks are delivered in high-quality .wav format, the industry standard for professional audio production. .wav files are widely supported by all major editing software and deliver uncompromised sound quality.
What sample rate and bit depth do you use?
- Sound effects: 96kHz / 24-bit
- Soundtracks: 48kHz / 24-bit
These formats are widely used across professional productions, offering a perfect balance between audio quality and workflow efficiency. Sound effects are delivered at a higher resolution to allow for maximum editing flexibility, while soundtracks are optimized for seamless integration into video and film projects.
Do your sounds include metadata?
Yes, all sound effects are carefully embedded with UCS metadata.
Do all soundtracks include key and BPM information?
Yes, key and BPM information is included directly in the file names for easy reference.
Which software or DAWs are your assets compatible with?
All assets are provided in .wav format, which is universally supported by all major editing software and DAWs, including Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and more. You can simply drag and drop the files into your project or import them directly.
Can I use the assets on both Mac and Windows?
Yes. All assets are fully compatible with both Mac and Windows systems.
Can I use the assets on my mobile phone?
Yes, you can. However, due to the large file sizes of some products, we recommend downloading them on a computer first and then transferring the files you need to your mobile device to avoid storage issues.
Are the assets organized in folders or by category?
Yes. All files are neatly organized into folders based on sound category. Each file also includes embedded UCS metadata, making it easy to browse and search through sample managers.
Is your metadata compatible with Soundminer, BaseHead, or similar tools?
Yes, our metadata is fully compatible with major asset management tools like Soundminer, BaseHead, and similar software.
How large are the downloads, on average?
File sizes vary depending on the product. Some downloads are just a few hundred megabytes, while others can be several gigabytes. You can find exact file sizes listed on each product page under the “Product Info” tab and also in the Download Center when you hover over your assets.
Are your soundtrack albums delivered as stems or full tracks?
All soundtracks include group stems and several alternate mixes, giving you more flexibility for your project.
5. Sound Design and Product Content
What is the difference between the Signature Series and Creator Essentials?
The Signature Series contains our most extensive libraries and includes the option to purchase a construction kit. These libraries offer deep customization and include raw source recordings and designed elements used in the final sounds. Creator Essentials is more focused on ready-to-use effects for everyday content creation — fast, accessible, and designed for quick integration.
What is a construction kit, and how does it work?
A construction kit gives you access to all the raw recordings and intermediate designed elements used to build the final sound effects. These are perfect if you want to customize or build your own layered sounds for more tailored projects.
Are the sounds and music tracks ready-to-use, or do I need to edit them first?
All assets are ready-to-use right out of the box. Just drag and drop them into your project. If you’re more experienced, you can always layer sounds or tweak the group stems from our soundtracks to better fit your creative vision.
Is there any overlap or reuse of sounds or source material between products?
No. Every sound is created from the ground up — no recycling, no reused content between libraries.
Can I customize the sounds or music for my project?
Absolutely. We encourage you to get creative and shape the assets however you like to make them your own.
Are the soundtrack albums fully original compositions?
Yes. All soundtracks are 100% original and produced in collaboration with top-tier composers and musicians from around the world.
How are your sound effects created?
All sound effects are crafted from 100 percent original source recordings. Our sound designers think creatively about finding and capturing unique materials, sometimes using unexpected sources such as the crackle of dry ice struck by a taser or the mechanical buzz of an old DVD player. These recordings are then carefully processed and designed into polished, ready-to-use sounds.
Will new sound libraries and soundtracks be released regularly?
Yes. We are continuously working on new sound libraries and soundtracks, but always with care. We focus on quality over quantity and release only carefully curated assets.
How can I keep track of new product releases and updates?
Visit our What’s New page, where we maintain an up-to-date logbook of new releases and updates. It's the easiest way to stay informed and see what's been added to our collection.
Can I request a specific type of sound or music for future releases?
Definitely. We always welcome feedback from our community. While we have a long list of ideas ourselves, repeated requests help us prioritize what to build next.
Do you offer different versions or mixes of the same soundtracks?
Yes. Each soundtrack includes multiple alternate mixes and group stems to give you more creative flexibility.
