Description
Rainforest captures the layered, immersive atmosphere of the Bornean jungle through detailed, natural ambience recordings. Recorded in the region surrounding the Kinabatangan River and the Danum Valley in Borneo, this library explores dense rainforest soundscapes shaped by birds, primates, amphibians, and insects, alongside flowing river textures and the subtle movement of trees and vegetation. Compared to African rainforests, the Bornean jungle is often quieter and more gentle, defined by rich birdsong and finely layered details such as frogs, cicadas, and other rainforest insects, creating a calm yet living density. Rainforest includes 40 carefully captured ambience recordings, all fully loopable to build long scenes without distraction. Part of our ongoing ambience series, Rainforest is designed to surround the listener with depth and realism, giving filmmakers, editors, and sound designers an authentic jungle foundation that places the audience inside the world itself.
